A PVP game balanced around PVE
A PVP game balanced around PVE.
My writing and spelling and wall of text is all messed up,I know this,so no need to inform me about it.Just had some free time and wanted to express my opinion,and see if others agreed.
SOLDIERS
This is the main problem in PvP.You take a Guardian.And you ask why does this class get Plate armor,the highest HP pool in the game,,insane health regen,and when speced for it,the ablity to destroy most classes due to the highest DPS of all the soldier classes.
The answer is simple.They have to be.Because in end game PVE the bosses hit hard,and for the most part heals are all HOT\’s,with shabby instant heals,it can be a life or death situtation constantly as I have watched a fully epiced Guardian screaming for heals when there\’s no heals to give.
Why are DT\’s and Conq weak in comparison?Well because there off tanks,which cannot tank any end game boss,and I think were more fillers,than actual viable classes.I mean a soldier class is a tank.And as far as I can tell,funcom designed everything around guardians for PVE,and didnt have the time/effort/want to make anything equal to what a guardian is.When DT\’s starting doing good DPS,they nerfed them.Why?Because it wouldnt effect end game PVE.So they could say hey your a soldier,you cant dps like that.
So why can guardians DPS and they dont get nerfed.Well they did nerf them.They said hey if you want DPS you are gonna have to spec polearm,have fun 2-4 shoting most classes using the momentum bug we refuse to fix.You see if they nerf guardians to much,they will become a rare class,and who the hell is gonna tank those end game bosses.Being they brain farted on the other soldier types and have such a full plate with issues and new ones to come those that chose that
