Current Design Makes PvP a Waste of Time
Out of 25 people I attacked last night, I only killed 2.
Why? Is it because I fail and should learn to play? No. Is it because my opponents were overpowered? No.
Then what is it?
It\’s called the Sprint function.
It seems to me that the current solution to everyone\’s problem is SPRINT!
PvP Server Ruleset:
Rule 1) If someone attacks you, just sprint away until they stop chasing you across three zones and give up chase.
Rule 2) Don\’t bother attacking anyone, because if you do, they will sprint away until you stop chasing them across three zones and are forced to give up.
Rule 3) Don\’t bother PvPing and always remember Rules number 1 and 2.
I am getting frustrated with the cowards in this game. Everyone I attack just runs away–granted I do play an overpowered Priest of Mitra, but that is besides the point.
There are times that some nut attacks me first, and when I start to win, they bugger off and run away–being the one who initiated the combat to start with.
I don\’t really have any tools to keep someone locked down, and once they start running, each smite I landed on them is regenerated back while they start running again and are out of combat.
Nerf running away IMO.
Also, nerf Priest of Mitras. Our class is rediculously overpowered, and I forsee the game becoming much more boring unless they either bring other classes on par with us, or tone us down.
