Conan rules the NPD’s top 10.

June 18, 2008 - Market research firm NPD has released its list of best-selling games for the month of May. Age of Conan makes its dominant debut at the top of the charts; this is especially impressive considering the game released May 20 and is not only the best selling game of May, but the best selling piece of software in general. Funcom’s MMORPG manages to appear twice in the list, with its Collector’s Edition coming in 3rd. The Sims 2, World of Warcraft, and their respective expansions continue to secure top 10 spots. The quirkiest game on the list is Viva Media’s 15000 Games, which rounds out the top 10.
