Balanced PVP Class.

I\’m in the process of re-rolling on a PvP server from a PVE server, mainly because the PvP in this game interests me. The thing is, I\’m stuck on what class to play. I DO have a ranger in the late 20\’s on a PvP server, but the class just isn\’t for me. I was wondering what the community feels is a BALANCED class in all aspects of PvP (Both group and solo). I already have a BearShaman on a PVE server, who is quickly approaching level cap, ...

After reading up on every class and spending about 2 days on the forums reading the class forums. im still lost as to which class to choose. The only good news is ive narrowed it down to 3 choices. (yeah i know but hey im picky) Assassin, Ranger,Or HoX.
What are the ups and downs in your views of each and where they place in PvP.

The sheer size of this army killed my framerate in seconds, as I began to approach it. I reached the keep, looked inside, and this is what I saw:

what was your kill count before you got you very first death in pvp

i dont know about you but alot of people rember there first death and what there kill streak was before you got your first death..

so here is a thread to name your kill streak before your first death and what class where you playing..

mine right now is only 37-0 but im only lvl 19 and no im not ganking lvl 1\’s just got very good at running when i need to lol..

before the end of June. What does that mean? This coming patch is supposed to have the PvP system that Failcom wants to put in.

As such, I declare this weekend ganking Weekend. Make it a priority to gank the WoWbabies that are afraid of dieing to higher level characters as it won\’t be a possibility after, as this game becomes more and more of a cuddlefest. PvP in AoC after this patch will become minigames only, with world PvP a rarity that\’s avoided....

Guardians and pvp…

haha does it exist? has anyone figured out a spec for guardians to fair in pvp? I see lvl 55 even a lvl 58 guardian die to a lvl 43-45 PoM or ToS. Guardians just dont deal enough damage to keep up the the heals and they never seem to run out of mana! Would like to hear some input

Why a 6 yr. old game (DAOC) is more progressive then AOC\’s PVP

I\’d like to start off by saying I played DAOC for 5 1/2 yrs. with time spent on the pvp server (mordred) and a background in pvp.

New frontiers = Border Range (where pvp happens)

What is fundamentally wrong with AOC\’s Battlekeep system?
Tier 3 exclusive
Scheduled Siege
Very small invulnerability time

Daoc rvr (pvp) sytem:
7 keeps per realm for a total of 2...

Who here disagrees with pvp gear?

Just sign if you dont like the idea of pvp gear.

Personally i think it ruins a game, and i\’d rather it be something cosmetic than functional. Would be cool if you say, got armor that looked cool, PVP items should only add cosmetic adjustment to crafted or looted gear.

They come up with a system to help the ganking, then add one to promote it (not that i have a problem with that).

IDK i\’m pretty new to the game so I don\’t have anything that cool to share, but i\’m sure some of you guys have some interesting pvp encounters to write about.

Melee is Borked

the title says it all.

i don\’t like the combo system at all, and it puts melee at a distinct disadvantage. we all understand why. not to mention the gheyness of running around swinging your weapon like an idiot \’pre-loading\’ combos.

casters get push-button damage, with no chance to miss. honestly, there needs to be a resist rate (meaning complete resist, 00 damage) equal to that of evasion rates. and before any caster cries \&#...

Combos For All or For None

Can anyone give a reasonable explanation of why melee classes have to do combos but caster classes don\’t?

Leaving aside the problems inherent in the combo system itself, is there any good reason why certain players should be able to bypass the system altogether?

Fix Necro completely Absurd

The fact that a necro 30 levels below me can have our entire party drained of mana and stamina in 30 seconds is completely retarded. The fact that there pets can go an unlimited distance to follow somebody with increased pet speeds there is no escape. Even if they can\’t kill somebody they can completely drain the entire party who would then get killed by mobs.

Lets set the record straight on PvP

This thread is to inform all those who bitch about PvP they way it is:

1. A fight is never fair. Thats life, get use to it. Tired of getting ambushed? Start doing the ambushing. Best way to win with ANY class.
