Whatever happen to the mounted combat? There was so much Hype about it before the release. It only reminds me of Anarchy Online vehicle combat and how non existant it was because of low damage and slow attacks. It seems to be the case in AOC too. Who is ever going to use their horse knockbacks against other players in pvp when it\’s only going to give them 60sec immunity to knockback, and before you get off the horse he will be back up…

So 54-80 sucks…not ready for prime-time, we all know that.
How about making the game level cap @ 60?
Then you can take out some zones while you work on the quests, voice overs, and raiding instances, feats, crafting, pvp, etc.
1-20 for me was pretty much the best MMO intro-to-game ever. Letting you focus on 40-60 would be a decent sacrifice.

Ok so I log into the game I thought I would be stoked to play get to play for about 30 seconds maybe 45 if Im lucky and then message comes up saying connection to server was lost. Is this issue happening to everyone one or am I just one unlucky individual? Thanks in advance for info and response

Just wondering when FC is going to add the LOS check to rangers so I can step behind a rock and let them waste their combo cooldowns? Probably Melee combos should stop doing damage if I move out of range as well to make it all more realistic, which was the main concern for double casting LOS checks afterall.

I have seen way to many people defending funcom.
I have seen way to many people defending PvP system as it is not complete.
I am at work, and don\’t have time to list the other 500 points I could list.
Simple fact, Funcom is pwning the heck out of all of us.
We are all being stupid enough to PAY THEM to beta test their game.
Offical release is a term. The game is not complete, and every patch is bugged to all heck.

Do not listen to all these liars.
I\’ve been playing since beta, and haven\’t noticed even one bug or balance issue.
These people are most likely all paid by Nike to discredit what they see as potential competition. Everyone knows that Conan shoes are the next big thing. Don\’t let the giant corporations sway you. Just play the game.
There are no bugs. Balance is perfect. Hell, I\’ve been in queue to get into the lowest population pve server...

what are your favorite things that funcom has put into the game… the little things in the environment that you just cannot get over.
my personal favorite is that drunk pirate in tortage that takes a piss off the docks every now and then.

well i just recently got my current issue of PCgamer and they revieweed AOC and gave it a score of 77% and it\’s Final Verdict
Highs: Mature atmosphere, gritty, action-oriented combat; interesting classes
Lows: PVP lacking; the loot is mostly trash; pledged features weren\’t included in the launch
Bottom Line: So promising, but in the end not quite satisfying, but there are plenty of foes to decaptitate while Funcom works on PVP

So you happen to have 2 minutes left on your death penalty timer, you die again. Your party member ressurects you. Your 2 minute timer goes away and your left with a brand spanking new 30 minute death penalty.

I now have five ConanPatcher.exe.X.tmp files, X currently being 0-4. Each is about 18 megs in size. One seems to be added with each new patch. Is it safe to delete these files or are they needed by the game to run properly?

how often do we use it? i find that putting 500pts on it, and only use it once or twice is very wasteful
