I leave a post asking for a response from Funcom as my continued membership depends on it.

What do they do? Close the thread?!? This is the worst case of customer service I have seen.

I have taken the name of moderator who closed the thread and WILL be emailing Funcom about this immediatly and demanding a follow up on this moderators conduct.

If this how they are going to treat people they want to keep paying them every month, I\’m baffled as how they intend to stay successful.

I\’m so sick and tired of people pointing to FC\’s stock prices and saying the game is failing. Pretty much everybody doing this has no knowledge or understanding of the fluidity of the stock market with regards to day-trading, and the long term fluctuations of said trade prices.

Therefore, for those who wish to be somewhat more informed… I give you:

It is plain to see that all of the doom and gloom individuals are only showing a portion of recent history, and not a sufficiently long-term representation of the company. The company has only just now fallen back to near their average trade prices. It is sensible to understand that with the sale of a major game there will be a brief climax in share pricing. It is also sensible that the majority of investors hoped for this so that they could sell out high — and this in turn lowers the price back towards the average. Sometimes there is even a dip below average as a result of late-sellers before the price stabilizes and returns to normal.

This is the nature of the trade. That\’s why people are interested in investing in a game such as this, because there are monumental possibilities in gains when you have a good chance of seeing a spike such as this. Shareholders/investors aren\’t selling out because they fear where the game is going — they are selling out because that\’s what they planned to do from the beginning. This is how they make money.

Anything can happen in the future, and the company doesn\’t look to be in danger according to these stock quotes alone. They still seem as stable as one could expect.

So before you listen to a small group of ignorant panderers trying to make you worry about a failing company — realize they don\’t understand what they are talking about and Funcom is in no way about to file bankruptcy or

Man, this game is the BOMB!

I love this game, and how great it is in all of its …..greatness!

All other games must bow down in AWE.

The support Funcom offers is TOP NOTCH!

Funcom never pulls out the nerf bat, much less hitting anyone with it!

The content in the game is so plentiful, it overloads my senses!

Warhammer Online will NEVER be able to hold a candle to the glory that is Age of Conan!

So I get jumped by a lvl 75 boss mob archer in khesh tonite. No biggie, I\’ve killed them before at 75. Except, this time he completely owns me. Pot was running and it didn\’t matter. He was hitting for 500 a shot, about 200 more then any other archer has ever hit me for excepting raid mobs.

I\’ve seen a few other posts commenting on a seeming buff to archer mobs, anyone else notice this change?

so im playing my demo

So i\’m playing my demo, and i keep getting LOS errors on my aoe spells.

Apparently the LOS is going from ground-to-ground not from eye-to-ground. if you have something at your feet, the spell doesn\’t work.

However regular DD spells are eye-to-target and they seem to work fine.

I\’ve tested this in several areas, if i move away from that tiny rock i can cast the spell, but anything larger than a pebble seems to break the LoS. The DD spells don\’t have this restriction. At all times, the target is directly in front of my character.

Anyone else test this that can help me figure it out?

Normal non epic once easily killed boss 4 levels below me now hits for 533 per second in feated defensive stance.

Here is some constructive feedback concerning melee classes…

End the jackpot combo system. Making the last step in a combo hit harder seems kinda cool, but it ultimately makes it the only step that matters. Please average the damage across every step in a combo.

Combo progression as you level is backwards. So the reward at level 80 is to get new ranks of combos that take 2 or 3 times the number of key presses to accomplish compared to when you first got the combo? Combos should start at 4 or 5 steps and should require fewer keystrokes as you advance. I know, what does it matter, the only one that counts is the last hit, right?

You should get rewarded for advancing, not punished. Furthermore, this will probably help with combat against casting classes (so you can stop nerfing casters).

These forums are associated with the game. Yet 99.9% of all the posts here seem to be posted by adolescent teenagers. If you want a good correspondence with FunCom, how about you show a little class in your posts. Give them constructive criticism instead of flaming rants. Honestly people, they can\’t please everybody all at once. They can\’t fix every single problem with one patch. If you think you can do better by all means go apply with FC and lets see what you can do. I implore you.

Wisdom comes with maturity as does patience and understanding. Give it time people, things will get better. If you don\’t want to wait thats fine, GTFO. My point short and simple, quit your bitching and complaining and bring your problems to attention without all the drama and sarcasm.

Whatever happen to the mounted combat? There was so much Hype about it before the release. It only reminds me of Anarchy Online vehicle combat and how non existant it was because of low damage and slow attacks. It seems to be the case in AOC too. Who is ever going to use their horse knockbacks against other players in pvp when it\’s only going to give them 60sec immunity to knockback, and before you get off the horse he will be back up…
Only logical way to use it, would be to stand on a bridge and kick pass bys off. You can\’t do combos while on a mount either, so whats the whole idea of Mounted Combat?
FC said on the video presentation, that it will be a very significant part of pvp. It\’s not at all…

Whats the deal Funcom?
